Get Fit With Pink Yoga: Doing Good While Doing Yoga
On October 7th, Corepower Yoga along with other sponsors such as Spiritual Gangster, FitJoy Protein Bar, Estee Lauder, Hint Water and many more hosted a fundraising event at Bloomingdale’s at Westfield San Francisco to benefit The Carey Foundation and the Marisa Acocella Marchetto Foundation. We got to do some good for the cancer survivors, and we also did good for our body. I wasn’t expecting to be that sore the next day though, I have to admit. It hurts so good!
The check in started at 8:30am in the morning. There were no one at the Westfield except for the event staff and the security, of course, us the yogis :) I love Corepower Yoga, I especially love their Yoga Sculpt classes. When I saw that they will be teaching the class, it was a no brainer for me. It was a full class, or I should say full shopping mall corridor. :D
The session started at 9am with some easy yoga moves, then we moved to the harder postures. I do not know about anyone else, but time flew for me. I enjoyed it a lot. I was surprised when I realized how stronger I got since I did yoga last time. Thank you Barry’s Bootcamp :) #armsday #chabs
At the end we got to go home with these goodies below. Apparently Bloomingdale’s hosts this event annually. I am looking forward to the next one already.
P.S: I will share more exciting news about Corepower Yoga soon. Stay tuned.
