5 Races You Must Run in San Francisco
As a runner, I wanted to share my top 5 races that takes place in San Francisco. I ran these races couple times in the last couple years, and you should definitely sign up for them if you like running as well as the beautiful scenery!
1. The San Francisco Marathon
The San Francisco Marathon is a series of USATF certified road running events held each June, July or August in San Francisco, California that include a full marathon, two half marathons, an ultramarathon, and a 5K. For more information, click here.
2. Bay To Breakers
Bay to Breakers is an annual footrace in San Francisco, California on the third Sunday of May. The phrase "Bay to Breakers" reflects the fact that the race starts at the northeast end of the downtown area a few blocks from The Embarcadero and runs west through the city to finish at the The Great Highway. 3. Rock 'N' Roll San Francisco Half Marathon
The United Airlines Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon San Francisco leads runners over the Golden Gate Bridge for beautiful views of the Bay Area. The race begins along the western edge of Golden Gate Park, near the intersection of Great Highway and Fulton Street and finish line is just a block away from The San Francisco City Hall. 4. The Giant Race
8th annual San Francisco Giant Race Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Kid Race and Family Relay will take place on August 27th, 2017. The racers will run the scenic San Francisco waterfront, and the finish line is actually inside the AT&T Park. For more information, click here.
5. Golden Gate Half Marathon
